Project FUR Japan opens Saturday, April 2 @ 9am SLT.

LacieCakes is participating in this event. I have 3 items priced at only $100L, 100% of the proceeds are to benefit Japan Earthquake Animal Rescue and Support (JEARS). This group is comprised of three private No-Kill animal welfare organizations in Japan; HEART-Tokushima, Animal Friends Niigata and Japan Cat Network. No animal rescued by JEARS will be surrendered to Animal Control (where they would be at risk for euthanasia after three days) under any circumstance. They rescue, reunite and rehome lost and abandoned animals.

Animals and animal rescues are near and dear to my heart (in fact both of my cats are shelter rescues) :D

In my opinion, their lives are just as precious as a human life so they deserve just as much help as anyone else during this disaster. The difference between humans and animals is, for the most part, people can help themselves. Animals rely on our assistance. So please, find it in your heart to drop a donation in the donation jar or go to the Project FUR Japan sim and purchase products that are helping this wonderful cause.

In addition to having my items at the Project FUR Japan sim, I have also placed them in my main store, available as of NOW as well as a donation jar.
