LOTD #3 ............. 01-09-2010

*raises glass to procrastination*
Another LOTD post as a result of not feeling like setting up more sections at the new store build. XD I find if I have to force myself to work, it won't be good quality so I'm better finding fun things to do instead... and to me, there's nothing more fun than SHOPPING! I had to check out Truth's newest release since I hadn't been there in a while. I also stopped at Candy Nail, my FAVORITE prim nail store. I love that they come in different sizes depending on the size of your hand and there's a wide variety of designs. The nail shape itself isn't too slender or too large... they're JUST right! I had put my entire look together for this post and found that I don't have enough pairs of white shoes! So, I had to make a stop at Nardcotix in search of a new pair. All of the ones I have a pretty outdated. I ended up with the glittery (surprise surprise) Absinthe shoes. The total result... a look that is rather fabulous. But then again, I am pretty partial ;)

LOTD #2 ............. 01-06-2010

I'm ALIVE! If you're wondering where the new releases for the store are, well... right now I'm working on building a new main store to be more posh, more classy and most importantly, more organized! Once I get that done, I'll start on making new jewelry. In the mean time I'm taking a break and decided to do a LOTD post. For those of you scratching your head... LOTD = Look Of The Day.

I don't consider myself a fashionista by any means. I just like to shop, a lot! I love to mix and match pieces from different stores and if I had to answer what my "look" is, it's pretty casual.

My inspiration for LOTD #2: The sad thing about SL Christmas is, after it's over, everyone wants to change their sim back to warm sandy beaches or grassy pastures... not me! I don't think I'm ready to get rid of my snow until the end of February! The look I put together is sort of a mix between the two. Warm, cozy, fluffy meets "I can't wait to show off some leg again!".... I used the House of Hucci & Glitterati "Diamond Room" as the backdrop for my photo... as you probably know, I'm a jeweler and I love all that is sparkly, shiny & glittery so I couldn't resist ^_^

Step 1: Choose a stocking & buy (boxing directions included with purchase)

Step 2: Choose inexpensive stocking stuffers and buy -- they come preboxed in a "lump of coal". (you may want to rename it before boxing it into your stocking, suggestions & boxing directions included with purchase)

Step 3: Do you have other gifts that need a "disguise"? Purchase the "Lump of Coal" dollarbie to box your holiday gifts in! (boxing directions included with purchase) -- example in store

Step 4: Place your boxed "lump of coal" gifts inside your stocking (or gift box of your own). If you display your stocking or gift box in world like I do, the true identity of the gifts you're giving out this year is hidden! If someone inspects the stocking or gift box, all they can see they're getting is a "lump of coal" ;) -- example stocking in store with boxed "lump of coal" gift inside of it

ALSO: Don't forget, the clearance sale is still going on at the main store. Many of the items being clearanced out are also transferrable and would make good stocking stuffers!
